Being a missionary wherever you are

As I’ve been working more in the schools the last few months–as a janitor, a teacher, and an assistant–I’ve been thinking about how we’re all called to be missionaries.  Whether you’re a pastor or a janitor, your calling as a Christian is the same: to make his glory known.

Our lives, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, should be spent for him in whatever ways he desires.

It’s a short thought, but one that changed my life.

  1. Today while subbing at the high school, I got an opportunity to speak to one student for nearly 30 minutes about Jesus. He’s a self-proclaimed pagan and follower of the ancient Roman gods/goddesses, but he’s got a real spiritual curiosity. It was awesome!
